Why I Teach This Course
I do not teach refinement because it sounds compelling. I teach it because I have lived it.
Before teaching Scripture publicly, I was trained in environments where preparation is non-negotiable and consequences are real. As an economist and advisor, I learned quickly that nothing is entrusted at scale without discipline, restraint, and proof of capacity. Ideas are tested. Systems are stressed. People are evaluated under pressure.
Scripture operates the same way.
My faith has never existed apart from responsibility. It has been shaped in rooms where decisions affected lives, resources, and outcomes. It has been tested by delay, obscurity, opposition, and weight. Refinement was not optional. It was required.
